Shattered galaxy was once a multi layed game with different things to keep you interested in it.

Money and resources meant something instead of a formallity (meant something like gold when you want wights or gold weapons), you could
-Trade (with varying prices for money-resource transfers
-Become BankRupt by constant StatResets
-Manage upgrades wisely

A political system was on in ShatteredGalaxy
-Sevral people signed up to be elected for OverLord, with descriptions and such
-The top 5ish people who got the most votes went to the second round
-There people would vote for the best and that person would become OverLord of the faction
-An Overlord could be sacked, or if stayed the full term, got a cool medal (so you can remove a bad overlord)

Rare Weapons where once in ShatteredGalaxy
-Amazingly Overpowered Weapons and equipment, but when everyone can get it, it became even.
-So much fun uniting the faction every rare day to get the weapons on the rare planets

Battles
-Fight the enemy for Glory and Experiance
-Defeat your enemy for territory and resources

Regiments
-Battle with friends
-Get advice/help with stats/units/etc
-earn a 10% bonus on exp or hp for units with wings

Resources
Money-Meaningless(Over abundance and low demand = meaningless money wherever you go)
Silicon-Not in use
Ore-Not in use
Uranium-Only for Elite payer things
Sulfer-Not in use

Units
-4 Devision types
-Half seperated for their use at endgame
-Balance issues for multible reasons
-Specual units replaced by Organics

Equipment
-Equip your units so almost no one is the same
-Change units to fit your playing style

GameTypes
-Each Center around Endgame
-Standard, win/lose is at endgame
-SE, poc by 10 then win/lose when that poc is taken or endgame
-Victory suppose to poc all game but only when time reaches 4:00 does the pocs give any real points to the game, centering all the battle around endgame again
-AON, still an Endgame thing because its all or nothing

Functioning Buildings
-A building in capitol was removed
-Obversitory's no longer useful
-factory in corners and 44 do not work but can sell
-Royal Rumble is not used
-Zoo on mp is a total waste because everyone already over level 5
-Faction HQ has buttons that no longer work
-Starport's factory does not work
-Starport does not go to any planet but relic-mp

Events
-Sparingly
-No Story elements
-No story anymore
-reincarnation is only definent event
-only a few events for units leveling faster or ura faster

Information
-F1 out of date
-Labb out of date
-Factory out of date
-Website out of date
-GameMaster's to any ticket

i look back and sg had so much going for it, now so much has been taken out that its mainly just a shell

Planets
Story
etc...

i didnt start playing this game early enough for all that goodness, i remeber hearing that you could actually equip ur units with items designed to find more eitems or extra currency of a certain type, so thatduring the fight, the chance of ur units picking up sumtin cool would be incremented.

all we really got now is equipment to
increase exp by 2%,4%,6%
make them phasicable/cloak
refuil/booster

and thats really all the interesting stuff there

yeah i tendo to equip lvl 0-20 units with +6% i hardly thinkg it actually speeds the proccess much tho. after that when i have SOME use for them in battle, i give the weight a better use. and engines used to have an effect on boosting too, now all engines boost the same if am not mistaken but some are inexplicably heavier than others
